According to Yahoo! News, Reba Rambo McGuire is now suing Pyramid Coach, the company that leased Dottie Rambo's bus, DC Investments Leasing, a subsidary of Pyramid, and James Meadows, the driver of the bus on the night that Dottie died.
I'm no lawyer, but I don't really see how this lawsuit would stand up, given that the crash that took Dottie's life and injured everyone else on board was ruled accidental due to weather conditions, but then again, that hasn't stopped people before from seeking compensation....

It's easier to prove negligence than criminal intent. A court could theoretically find that the driver should have realized the weather was too bad to proceed, but it would be very difficult to prove he had any sort of intent to kill Dottie Rambo...especially when you consider that he was driving the bus and putting him own life at an equal amount of risk.
It is hard to believe that Dottie's daughter would sue the driver of her Mother's bus. I just believe that there is more to the story than is being told. I heard they have also sued Dottie's Manager for control of the ministry. Larry and his wife Judy, took care of Dottie for years. She loved them.
I just have to clarify one thing here...Reba is NOT suing the bus driver. I wish the media would get it right! She is suing the insurace of the bus company. In the event of a wrongful death situation liability insurance is supposed to be paid. Unfortunately that hasn’t been done. In order to collect the liability insurance owed the lawsuit had to be filed. It’s that simple!
